Born Again? What Does It Mean?

~ BORN AGAIN ~

"CHRIST JESUS SAID, YOU MUST BE BORN AGAIN"

JOHN 3 7 Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again.

"CHRIST JESUS SAID, UNLESS A MAN IS BORN AGAIN HE CANNOT EVEN SEE THE KINGDOM OF GOD"

JOHN 3 3 Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily [Truly, truly], I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.

"CHRIST JESUS SAID, TO BE BORN AGAIN YOU MUST BE BORN OF TWO ELEMENTS: WATER AND SPIRIT"

JOHN 3 5 Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.

"BOTH THE WATER AND THE SPIRIT CHRIST JESUS SPOKE OF COME FORTH FROM THE WORD OF GOD"

"HERE'S THE WATER"

EPHESIANS 5 25c Christ also loved the church, and gave himself for it;
26 That he might sanctify [set it aside] and cleanse it with the washing of water by the word [¹the Gospel Message/the Word Of God].

"AND HERE'S THE SPIRIT"

JOHN 6 63 It is the Spirit that quickeneth [makes alive]; the flesh profiteth nothing: the words that I speak unto you [¹the Gospel Message/the Word Of God], they are Spirit, and they are life.

"THIS VERSE CONTAINS THE EXACT STEPS WHEREBY A PERSON IS BORN AGAIN"

EPHESIANS 1 13a In whom [speaking of Christ Jesus] ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation [¹the Gospel Message/the Word Of God]: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed [into the Kingdom Of God] with that holy Spirit [You were Born Again] . . .

"SO WHAT DOES IT MEAN TO BE BORN AGAIN?
IT MEANS: YOU HAVE BEEN BORN OF THE WORD OF GOD AND THE SPIRIT OF GOD"

JOHN 3 5 Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water [¹the Gospel Message/the Word Of God] and of the Spirit [the Spirit Of God], he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.

"IT MEANS THAT WHEN YOU RECEIVE CHRIST JESUS AS YOUR PERSONAL LORD AND SAVIOR THROUGH THE WORD OF GOD,
THE SPIRIT OF GOD ENTERS INTO YOUR BODY, AND BECOMES ONE WITH YOUR SPIRIT: AND YOU BECOME A CHILD OF GOD!"

JOHN 1 12 But as many as received him [²Christ Jesus/The Word], to them gave he power [speaking of the Holy Spirit] to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name:
13 Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.

"IT MEANS THE SAME SPIRIT THAT RAISED CHRIST JESUS FROM THE DEAD NOW LIVES IN YOU"

ROMANS 8 11 But if the Spirit of him [God] that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken [make alive] your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you.

"IT MEANS THAT GOD BY THE POWER OF THE HOLY SPIRIT COMES TO LIVE INSIDE OF YOU, TRANSFORMING
YOU INSTANTLY INTO A NEW CREATURE THAT HAS NEVER-EVER EXISTED BEFORE: LIKE WHEN A
CATERPILLAR TURNS INTO A BUTTERFLY"

2-CORINTHIANS 5 17 Therefore if any man be in Christ [speaking of being Born Again], he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.
18a And all things are of God, who hath reconciled us to himself by Jesus
Christ . . .

"HOW DO I KNOW IF I AM BORN AGAIN? IF YOU ARE BORN AGAIN GOD WILL TELL YOU"

ROMANS 8 16 The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God.

"WHAT IF I AM NOT BORN AGAIN?
IF YOU ARE NOT BORN AGAIN, YOU ARE NOT GOD'S CHILD, AND YOU ARE NOT GOING TO HEAVEN"

ROMANS 8 9 But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ [the Spirit of God], he is none of his.

"CAN I BE BORN AGAIN RIGHT NOW?
IF YOU BELIEVE THE WORD OF GOD, YOU CAN BE BORN AGAIN RIGHT NOW"

REVELATION 3 20a Behold, I [Christ Jesus] stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him [by the power of the Holy Spirit].

"IF YOUR DESIRE IS TO BE BORN AGAIN MAKE THIS PRAYER YOUR OWN"

Dear God, I am truly sorry, please forgive me for ³sinning against You: I have broken Your Laws. And I repent: I change my mind from my way to Your Way, and will live my life according to that change of mind. Jesus, I believe that You are the Son Of God; that You died on the Cross for my sins, and that You were buried, and that You rose again the third day according to the Scriptures. Jesus, please wash away my sins with Your Sinless Blood; reconcile me unto God the Father. Have the Holy Spirit enter into my body and become one with my spirit: cause me to be Born Again. I now personally receive You Christ Jesus, as my Lord, my Savior, my King, and my God. Thank You Lord Jesus for Saving me. Amen.

"THREE PROOFS THAT WE ARE BORN AGAIN BY THE WORD OF GOD"

1-PETER 1 23 Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible [⁴seed], by the word of God, which liveth and abideth for ever.

1-CORINTHIANS 4 15 For though ye have ten thousand instructors in Christ, yet have ye not many fathers: for in Christ Jesus I have begotten you through the gospel [¹the Gospel Message/the Word Of God].

JAMES 1 18 Of his [God's] own will begat he us with the word of truth [¹the Gospel Message/the Word Of God], that we should be a kind of firstfruits of his creatures.

¹The specific Gospel Message/Word Of God that we must be born of is this: The Good News that Man can have Peace with God through Christ Jesus (Romans 5:1 & 2-Corinthians 15:1-7).
²One of the names of Christ Jesus is "The Word": in John 1:1-3&14 we read, "In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. The same was in the beginning with God. All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made . . . And the Word was made flesh [human/Christ Jesus] and dwelt among us".
³1-John 3:4b "Sin is the transgression [breaking] of the law".
⁴The Apostle Peter is referencing the Parable of the Sower: Luke 8:11 "Now the parable is this: The seed is the word of God".
